StemBook Visualizer
Description
As part of a summer internship with Harvard University's Initiative for Innovative Computing, I developed a visual browser of concepts in biology for StemBook, an online peer-reviewed journal on stem cell biology. This browser displays the 26,000 concepts in the Gene Ontology and the connections between them, and allows users to view which StemBook articles have been tagged with each term.
StemBook is the subject of an article to be presented at the Electronic Publishing 2009 conference, and was the impetus for my creation of VizierFX.
